Phillip White and Michael Mobley wrote "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On" and Neal McCoy recorded and released it in March 2005 as the lead single on his That’s Life album. The song reached Number 10 on the Billboard Hot Country charts and broke the top 100 at Number 75. The video featured Saturday Night Live comedian Rob Schneider and famous late night talk show zookeeper Jack Hanna.
